Review: Avon Ideal Flawless Invisible Cover Foundation in Light Pink

Hey hey! Today I have a small review for you, it's Avon's Ideal Flawless Invisible Coverage Foundation in Light Pink...I'm pretty sure I did a review for another colour sample of it I got but this will compare shades! I am super tired at the moment, I slept over at my mum's house the day before yesterday and she bought my brother a new Siberian Husky puppy on Sunday...he totally doesn't deserve it but it's "for Christmas". She's called Bella (Twilight...ick...) and is super cute and pretty peaceful most of the time but can have mad half hours of running from one end of the room to the other and peeing herself with excitement. Here's a picture of us together! Wanna see a picture of my brother too? We look absolutely nothing alike and I mean it! Everyone says it too...XD

He's only 14! But he's pretty ripped and wants to be in the Marines but with his...behavioural problems, shall we say, he's gonna have a hard time and have to calm down a lot.

Anyway, onto the review! I kind of sidetracked there but you got to know a bit more about me! XD

Here's the packaging, just plain black with the white text. It also has SPF15 in but it doesn't really matter to me as my moisturiser has SPF25 in. I'd love an ultra high one to keep me pale and my BB cream does have SPF50 in it but I like wearing my paler Dream Matte Mousse Foundation. I will be trying Nature Republic's Vanilla Sky Foundation after the 20th so I'll definitely post results on that!

Okay, here's a super scary photo of me sans make-up, complete with undyed hair (which I'll probably do tomorrow for J-Con) and pimple! Yay!... >_> I also seemed to be having a really shit day for posing so most of these photos are just me staring you out. *__*

This is the colour of the foundation straight out of the packet. Pretty standard foundation shade as even the pale shades don't look that pale before application. They always seem a bit orangey to me but even out on skin easy enough.

Another scary photo, this time with just the foundation on. I put Avon's MagiX Face Perfector on beforehand. To be honest, the first application seemed a bit streaky and inconsistent on my skin but then I looked away for a minute or so, then looked again and it seemed to have sunk in and adjusted! The shade is pretty perfect for me, pale and natural looking-ish. :P

This is with blush, concealer and powder on. Powder definitely helps even out the shade and matte-ify it, it's a bit "dewy" in texture without powder. To be honest, there's not much difference between this and my Dream Matte Mousse in 004, even the shade is identical. I guess this is a little better as it has SPF in and is in liquid form; I sometimes feel my dry skin isn't up to par for mousse foundation, which can be a little drying and flaky.

And my make-up for that day with the foundation on! As I said, pretty bog standard to be honest. It stayed put throughout the day and didn't oxidise, turning me orange or grey so it's up to scratch.

What a rubbish pose...

TL;DR: To me, this is a bog standard foundation that doesn't dry me out or show imperfection and flakes, has SPF in and stays put all day. The coverage is a little streaky and inconsistent at first but sinks in and adjusts to your skintone. Powder sets and matte-ifies it. Would I buy it again? To be honest, yes! It's exactly like my Dream Matte Mousse but in a liquid form. The Dream Satin Liquid in 004 doesn't seem to be the same shade as the mousse, which is why I'd choose this over the Dream Satin Liquid. 4/5 stars for me!

I hope you enjoyed this review! Do you use any Avon products? I know they're quite popular in the UK, what with representatives and the such but I'm not sure how popular they are elsewhere! They are a brand listed on Poupee Girl and they had Reese Witherspoon as a cover girl or mascot or whatever at some they have Avon on your side of the pond?

I'm having a beauty-themed giveaway at the moment to win a ton of items including hair, body lotion and tons of make-up so why don't you head on over and enter? What have you got to lose? ^_~
